Written in early 2006, "Phoenix" was the first indication that I could write synth pop. It's the song with which I participated in 'open stage' competition UKM, which led to me getting stage time at the very popular Festival Töreboda 2006 and my first fan (besides my mom); it was the first song I ever recorded and it was even recognised as a runner-up in the Singer-Songwriter Awards back in 2008.

Yeah, this one has a pretty special place in my heart. It's only appropriate that it's a love song.
